藝術的發展需要不同聲音相互碰撞，在交流激勵中成長。為此，中國油畫院每年會針對院內的展覽活動及課題，邀請國內不同學術領域的有深入思考和研究的藝術家、學者、藝評家等進行主題性的深入研討交流，旨在探討和解決面臨的新問題，突破個人的思維局限，進行開放式的對話和討論。以加強中國油畫院與外界的交流，促進學術的全面成長。
Artistic development requires the collision of different perspectives and thrives on vigorous dialogue. To this end, each year the Academy invites domestic artists, scholars and critics conducting in-depth research on a variety of fields to participate in thematic discussions centered around the Academy’s exhibits and study topics. These discussions are aimed at exploring and resolving new issues, overcoming limits in personal thinking, and conducting open dialogue and debate, in order to strengthen the exchange between the Academy and the outside world and promote overall academic growth.
