為提升藝術家的整體文化和藝術素養，中國油畫院秉承了尋源問道的學術理念，引導油畫家們深入思考，追尋藝術的本源，求問藝術與生命之道。邀請社會各領域的學者、專家和院內外藝術家與學生深入交流與探討。從不同的視角展開，在交流中碰撞、在碰撞中沉淀，以促進中國油畫院的學術層次向更高更深入和更全面的發展而努力。講座分為人文講座和藝術講座。
In order to promote the overall cultural and artistic attainment of artists, the Academy has accepted as its mission the academic ideal of “Seeking the Source and the Way”: leading artists to pursue the source of art and investigate the way of art and life through deep contemplation. The Academy invites scholars and experts from all fields of society to engage in deep exchange and discussion with artists and students from and outside of the Academy. Through the sequential exchange, collision, and precipitation of ideas from diverse perspectives, the Academy endeavors to more deeply and fully develop its academic level. Lectures consist of humanities lectures and arts lectures.
